ASHRAE 62: VENTILATION FOR ACCEPTABLE INDOOR AIR QUALITY
The purpose of the standard is: to specify minimum ventilation rates and indoor air quality that will be acceptable to human occupants and are intended to avoid adverse health effects. The scope of the standard is as follows:
* the standard applies to all indoor spaces that people may occupy, except where other applicable standards and requirements dictate larger amounts of ventilation than ASHRAE 62 standard
* the standard applies as well to spaces with huge release of moisture such as residential kitchens and bathrooms, locker rooms and swimming pools
